In January 2021, TRB hosted a virtual event for approximately 20,000 participants to view more than 400 sessions and workshops, participate in committee meetings, and browse exhibits. The annual meeting's spotlight theme was Launching a New Century of Mobility and Quality of Life. Additional topics included the COVID-19 pandemic and racial justice and equity in transportation.
