The findings from the peer exchange included: (1) the importance of maintenance quality assurance (MQA) programs and their value to collected data; (2) examples of formal maintenance training programs to develop leadership skills; (3) addressing skill gaps in new maintenance workers; (4) the addition of data analysts and programmers to maintenance department teams; and (5) the use of tablets and other technological innovations to improve the way maintenance inventories are updated.
