Abstract:

National Cooperative Highway Research Project (NCHRP) 25-52 (Meteorological Effects on Roadway Noise) studied the relationships between weather conditions and noise levels in adjacent communities. The research team also developed a brochure and an interactive PowerPoint presentation to assist state highway agencies with educating the public and other transportation professionals about the relationships between weather and noise
