Abstract:

This issue contains twelve papers concerning travel behavior and values. Specific topics covered are as follows: the role of social media in trip planning; digital narratives of place; impact of technology use on multimodality and activity travel characteristics; and inferring activities from social media data. Additional topics include personalization of routing services; impacts of telecommuting on nonmandatory activity participation; exploring daily rhythms of interpersonal contacts; and modeling week activity schedules for travel demand models.
