Abstract:

This issue contains thirteen papers concerned with environment and energy. Specific topics addressed in this issue: life-cycle benefits of recycled material in highway construction; thermoelectric energy from asphalt pavements; plug-in hybrid electric vehicle consumers; an integrated multimodal transportation model for a switchgrass-based bioethanol supply chain; the implications of rounding in highway noise analyses and policies; and underwater sound levels from the implosion of a reinforced concrete bridge pier.
