Abstract:
This issue contains seventeen papers on public transportation. Specific topics addressed in this issue include the following: injury severity in local bus crashes; real-time bus-holding control strategy; San Pablo, California, corridor rapid service; real-time operations control strategies; automatic data collection methods in estimating details of bus dwell time; South Eastern busway network in Brisbane, Australia; convex fuel consumption model for diesel and hybrid buses; allocation of real-time passenger information signs at bus stops; bus service time for a curbside stop; and combination of transit signal priority with dedicated bus lanes or queue jump lanes at multiple intersections.
