This issue contains 17 papers concerning urban and rural bus systems. Specific topics covered are as follows: effects of multimodal operations on urban roadways; worker attitude toward bus rapid transit; modeling travel time reliability with data from automatic vehicle location and smart card systems; transit signal priority control for high-frequency segregated transit services; and transit preferential treatments using microsimulation.
