Abstract:

Transport of natural gas to needy customers in New England is challenging due to infrastructure limitations; as a result, further investment in infrastructure is needed. This article examines issues related to geology and policies, pipeline infrastructure, natural gas storage, imports and liquefied natural gas, and offshore systems. It also reports on developments that are having direct impacts on New England gas consumers.
