The Mineta Transportation Institute, a University Transportation Center under the U.S. Department of Transportation, has increased the downloads of research documents from its website approximately tenfold over the course of four years. The author of this article describes the Institute’s approach to increasing report distribution, and shares its experience, insights, approaches, and resources for websites, social media, news releases, and metrics.
