Abstract: THREE ALTERNATE METHODS FOR MEASURING FREEZE-THAW AND WET- DRY RESISTANCE IN THE STANDARD SOIL-CEMENT TESTS ARE STUDIED: LENGTH CHANGE, COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH, AND PULSE VELOCITY. LENGTH CHANGE AND COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH METHODS SHOW PROMISE OF DEVELOPMENT INTO DESIRABLE ALTERNATE PROCEDURES.
