Abstract:

THE METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF CEMENT CONTENT OF SOIL- CEMENT MIXTURES FROM CEMENT HARDENED BASES, AS RECOMMENDED BY SUBCOMMITTEE NO. 2 OF THE PROJECT COMMITTEE OF ' STABILIZED ROADS' OF THE HIGHWAY RESEARCH BOARD, WAS FOUND TO OFFER WIDER APPLICATION THAN THE METHODS USED BY OTHER LABORATORIES SINCE IT MAY BE USED WITH SOILS OF HIGHER LIME CONTENT THAN IS USUALLY ENCOUNTERED.
