A FORMULA CONNECTING THE SPEED DISTRIBUTION MEASURED IN TIME WITH THE SPEED MEASURED IN SPACE IS DERIVED AND APPLIED TO THE CASES OF PEARSON TYPE III DISTRIBUTIONS, AND LOGNORMAL DISTRIBUTIONS.
