Abstract:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hosted an Active Transportation Expert Panel meeting, February 27-28, 2012, in Atlanta, Georgia, to advance cooperation among organizations that measure active transportation, i.e., walking and bicycling for transportation purposes. This brief report presents the program objectives and describes the meeting's four main sessions. A summary review of the meeting is in preparation.
