Abstract:

This presentation includes an overview and comparison of different rut depth transfer functions that were included in a modified version of the Mechanistic–Empirical Pavement Design Guide (MEPDG) software identified as Version 9-30A, prepared under NCHRP project 9-30A. The presentation is grouped into four areas: (1) overview of the project objectives and rut depth transfer functions, (2) comparison of predicted and measured rut depths using the different transfer functions, (3) assessment and effectiveness of the transfer functions, and (4) a summary of the observations and findings from the project.
