Abstract: A PAVEMENT REFLECTOMETER DEVELOPED AT THE INSTITUTE OF TRANSPORTATION AND TRAFFIC ENGINEERING, HAS BEEN USED FOR FIELD MEASUREMENTS OF DIRECTIONAL REFLECTANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF SEVERAL PAVEMENT SURFACES. THE REFLECTOMETER AND ITS OPERATING PROCEDURE ARE DESCRIBED. A TYPICAL SET OF DIRECTIONAL REFLECTANCE FACTORS ARE ALSO INCLUDED.
