Abstract:

Of all the methods of passing on organizational information and knowledge at our disposal, mentoring is the one that will instill the deepest positive feelings toward the organization. Being mentored by a person of organizational stature and success opens doors for growth not otherwise available. As we address our organizational needs with a multi-generational workforce, mentoring holds the key to maintaining organizational strength, retention, and success. There are two main focuses of the mentoring intervention; the organization process and mentor process execution.
