The model is based on the need-based theory of activity generation that we proposed in earlier work. We elaborate and explore a heuristic method for generating activity agendas on a multi-day, multi-person basis. Simulations indicate that solutions generated by the model are sensitive to aspects of social behavior in well-interpretable ways.
