Title: TOTAL AIRPORTSIM: A NEW GENERATION AIRPORT SIMULATION MODEL
Accession Number: 00929303
Record Type: Component
Availability: N/AFind a library where document is available Abstract: This workshop presentation focuses on the new airport simulation model called Total AirportSim. This computer software models various aspects of total airport operations connecting airside and landside, literally from the airspace to the curb. The model has been developed gradually and implemented over the years together by LeTech, Inc., and the International Air Transport Association (IATA). LeTech first developed the Airspace/Runway Module back in 1996. In 1997, IATA joined in the development, with the Gate Module in 2000 and the Terminal Passenger Flow Module in 2001. These three main modules of the model are presented with their special features and capabilities as well as their sub-modules that help make up the system.
