Abstract:

This report summarizes a General Accounting Office (GAO) study of airport development needs. The study had three objectives: (1) To understand the various estimates made in 1996 and reconcile their differences; (2) To estimate airport development needs for the period 1997-2001; and (3) To identify the factors that affect core capital needs.
