Abstract:

This chapter, Chapter 10 of the "Guide to Earthwork Construction," provides an overview of geotechnical instrumentation for embankments and explains the importance of such instrumentation to the overall success of an embankment construction project. Information is also included on reading the instruments and reporting the values.
