Abstract:

The author discussed technologies emerging over the next decade in aviation and their impact on aviation forecasting. Among the technologies he pointed out were the Traffic Alerting Collision Avoidance System (T/CAS), new subsonic aircraft, and advanced aircraft, including V/STOL aircraft, high speed rotorcraft, and supersonic cruise aircraft.
