Title: LATERALLY LOADED CAST-IN-DRILLED-HOLE PILES
Accession Number: 00490138
Record Type: Component
Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: The behavior of cast-in-drilled-hole pile has been investigated in detail with an instrumented model test pile embedded in either level or sloping ground of sand or silty clay soil. Upslope and downslope as well as parallel directional lateral loads were applied to the model test pile to measure the lateral resistance and the load-deflection relationship. Parameters such as the embedment length, the slope of the ground, the distance from the edge of the slope, and the cyclic loading were included in the study.
