Availability: Find a library where document is available Abstract: This publication lists ten research problem statements developed and prioritized by the TRB Committee on Operator Education and Regulation in 1985: General and Specific Deterrent Effects of Administrative License Revocation for Drunk Driving; Evaluation of Traffic Safety Instructional Techniques/Strategies; Optimizing the Effectiveness of License Suspension; Dissemination and Feedback of Traffic Safety Education Research; Preparation and Certification of Traffic Safety Personnel; Development and Validation of Entry Level Testing Instrument for Driver Education Students; Development of Accident Avoidance Skill Training; Frequency of Drinking and Driving; Development of a Comprehensive Safety Program; and Identify Behavioral Influence of Teachers, Family Members, Friends/Peers and Other Community Sources in Traffic Situations. The first three statements were given a high priority, the second three a medium priority, and the last four a low priority.
