Abstract:

This presentation will provide Departments of Transportation (DOT) stormwater practitioners with awareness and strategies they need to evaluate Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) and compliance plans. Information will be presented that stormwater practitioners and regulatory agencies could use in assessing if a local municipality or agency could be a suitable partner in the development of a TMDL. Information will include alternative paths to compliance with TMDLs, and innovative compliance strategies.
