Title:
Asphalt Materials and Mixtures, Volume 1
Accession Number:
01637861
Abstract:
This issue contains sixteen papers concerned with asphalt materials and mixtures. Specific topics addressed in this issue include the following: a cracking test method; estimation of fracture performance; viscoelasticplastic-fracture models; overlay tester accuracy of crack susceptibility; short-term performance and evolution of material properties; flexural fatigue behavior of asphalt beams with geosynthentic interlayers; and fatigue life prediction. In addition, papers address small specimen geometries for asphalt mixture performance testing and pavement performance prediction; prediction of top-down cracking; characterization of permanent deformation; stiffness degradation curve of specimens; pore water pressure; performance of fiberglass grid with composite interlayer systems; strain level determination for cyclic direct tension fatigue testing; plant-produced high polymer-content asphalt mixtures; and sensitivity of the Illinois flexibility index test.
