THE PHYSICAL TESTS OF SOILS FOR ENGINEERING PURPOSES AND THE TYPES OF EQUIPMENT USED BY LABORATORIES IN THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, AND ENGLAND ARE PRESENTED.
