Abstract:
A MATHEMATICAL EXPLANATION IS GIVEN FOR THE MECHANISM OF A PHENOMENON OBSERVED DURING THE AASHO ROAD TEST, VIZ., THAT PAVEMENT DEFLECTIONS DECREASE AS VEHICLE SPEED INCREASES.
